DUNCAN — Duncan adds Sudbery to staff

The Duncan football team will have a new defensive line coach in 2013, as the team has added Don Sudbery, a coach of 10 years, to its staff.

Sudbery is a graduate of Lee Academy in Arkansas and went to school at Ouachita Baptist University.

Duncan athletic Director Burl White said Sudbery brings a strong knowledge of the read option offense, something he’s worked with for more than 10 years.

“He has a vast background from his time in Arkansas. He’s spent a lot of time working with an option type offense, whether that be out of the spread or other formations,” White said. “That makes him a great fit for what we’re trying to do and we’re glad to have him.”
