DUNCAN — For the Bray-Doyle Donkeys, Friday night against Healdton went from bad to worse in just mere moments.

On top of dropping a 36-12 decision to the Bulldogs on the road, junior running back Rodney Hall was forced to leave the game with an arm injury, which could possibly keep him sidelined for a period of time.

“Our kids gave effort, but we just didn’t execute offensively or defensively,” B-D coach Don Padgett said. “Every team I’ve ever coached has had a week like we had last night, and it’s a shame it had to happen to us. Rodney was getting evaluated today (Saturday), and it’s not looking good either way. We’ll have to be real cautious either way with him.”

B-D’s lone scores of the evening came in the second half when Cameron James returned a kickoff 71 yards for the touchdown in the third quarter, before quarterback Cody Watson found James in the fourth quarter for a 17-yard TD reception.

Thursday night will be homecoming for the Donkeys (1-6,1-3) as they host Wilson with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m
