DUNCAN —

The Ministerial Alliance’s annual Community Thanksgiving service will be held at First United Methodist Church and begins at 6 p.m.

First Baptist Church’s Senior Pastor Dr. Bryan Pain is the main speaker.

“Other ministers will be helping to lead the service as well,” First United Methodist Church’s Senior Pastor Reverend Greg Tolle said. “A community choir will be doing a special song. We will be doing a couple of hymns and a couple of praise songs.”

Tolle said they are planning for at least 200 people. “We are pleased to be able to host on behalf of the community so we can all gather together no matter what our denomination is to give thanks.”

The Thanksgiving service by Dr. Pain is titled “Jesus on Thanksgiving.”

“I am looking forward to hearing a fellow minister and a multiple-voice choir that is representing the whole community,” Tolle said.

The service will include an offering to support the Ministerial Alliance.

First United Methodist Church is located at 2300 N. Country Club Road.

The event is rotated among the churches each year.
