  •  All Saints’ Episcopal

All Saints’ has started a new contemporary service at 5 p.m. in the Chapel. Following this service, there will be a fellowship meal in Parish Hall. This service will continue on the fourth Sunday of the month during the summer. The next contemporary service is at 5 p.m. today and everyone is welcome.

All Saints’ is continuing with the new Sunday class this week called “Coffee with the Rector.” This class will run all summer and is intended to be an open forum of questions and discussions. This is a great way to get to know the church and ask your questions. No reservation is required and nursery will be available at this time. Worship follows this informal class.  Come and check it out.

Every Wednesday, All Saints’ has a worship service in the Chapel.

  •  New Hope Baptist

In the morning worship service, will be the annual Patriotic Service. The patriotic music will be presented by the Adult Choir under the direction of John Cornish, minister of music.

In the evening worship service, Bro. Randy Southerland will bring the message “What Is A Genuine Faith?” from Hebrews 11:6 and James 2.

The Wednesday night, July 3 services and activities will be cancelled.

Upcoming events and activities are Youth Camp at Falls Creek July 8-13 and Kidz Camp at Cross Timbers July 11-14.

  •  Parkview Baptist

Sunday morning the “Be of the Right attitudes” series will continue with Bro. Steven Gillispie’s sermon from the passage Matthew 5:5, “Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.” Bring someone with you to study the word and make lasting friendships.

Sunday evening will be the Youth Falls Creek service.

Noonday bible study will be Wednesday, July 3 with a continuance of “Why do people leave the church? What can we do to change this?” Whether you attend the noonday brown bag bible study or the evening service, you’re encouraged to come and participate in the study. The children and youth will have their regular services at 7 p.m.

    Oklahomans are being asked to focus on water conservation and stewardship and continue to keep drought-affected areas in their thoughts. A state-wide day of prayer has been set for 6 p.m. Sept. 18, backed by Oklahoma Conservation Districts, Oklahoma Conference of Churches and Whole Creation Community partnership.

    For Michael Shank, author of “Muscle and a Shovel,” his came when he attended a Bible study taught by a former co-worker only revealed as Randall.
    Shank will share his story Sunday, Sept. 1, in three services at Eastside Church of Christ.
    Services will be open to the public and are at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
