New Hope Baptist

In the morning worship service, Bro. Randy Southerland will bring the message “Mountain Movers” — I Kings 17:1. Offertory music by Melissa Warren and Sharon McGuire. Other music by Lin Underwood, Stacy Jennings.

In the evening worship service, Bro. Randy Southerland will bring the message. Offertory music by Brett Lovett. Other music by Charla Skinner and Lisa Taylor.

Wednesday night service and activities are Prayer Time, Sanctuary Bible Study, youth activities and The Gospel Project.

Comanche First Baptist

Eli Gardner, pastor for Comanche’s First Baptist Church, will bring the messages on Sunday. A special offering for state missions will be taken. Evening activities include choir practice, youth meetings and worship.

On Wednesdays, Loops of Love knit and crochet time is from 10 a.m. until noon. Prayer service, Youth Bible Study and Teamkids each begin at 6 p.m.

Church office hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. For information, call 580-439-5335.

West Side Christian

At West Side Christian Church Sunday Rev. Terry Schlein will preach on “Laying Down the Law,” based on Exodus 20:18-26. The pastor’s children’s sermon will be “A Centurion’s Faith,” with Scripture Luke 7:1-10.

Janet and Randy Rosine will sing “In the Garden.” The congregation will enjoy fellowship and a potluck meal following the services.

On Wednesday evening, the worship and property teams will meet at 6 p.m. and the choir will rehearse at 6:30 p.m. The Birthday Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. The location will be announced.

True Gospel Tabernacle

Duncan, let’s take back our city from the hands of the enemy. Pastor Suff. Bishop Sherman P. Tyler Sr of True Gospel Tabernacle would like for everyone to come together and start a daily prayer service at noon.

True Gospel is willing to open or meet at any other church, so all clergy can come together and pray. If you are interested in starting this daily prayer service, call True Gospel at 580-467-2555 or 580-252-SAVE(7283). Let’s not continue to let the enemy run rapid in our city a minute longer.

    For Michael Shank, author of “Muscle and a Shovel,” his came when he attended a Bible study taught by a former co-worker only revealed as Randall.
    Shank will share his story Sunday, Sept. 1, in three services at Eastside Church of Christ.
    Services will be open to the public and are at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
