DUNCAN — Grace Baptist

Pastor John Croy will be bringing the message in evening services. Adults Discipleship Training class is 5 p.m. Sunday. GBC will be handing out candy to trick or treaters from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Brother Croy will lead the 7 p.m. Wednesday night Bible study, and prayer meeting. The Men and Boys monthly Prayer Breakfast will be 7:30 p.m. Saturday Nov. 3.

First Christian Church

The Rev. Arnold Nelson keeps the activity calendar busy at FCC.

At the Well, 913 W. Main, middle school and high school youth will meet at 3:30 p.m. to pick up bags for “Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat.” This week’s Wonderful Wednesdays includes: LOGOS at 4 p.m., All-Church Dinner at 5 p.m. in the Gathering Hall, Trunk or Treat in the parking lot behind the church at 5:30 p.m., Handbell Choir rehearsal at 6 p.m., Book Study, Walter Scott – A 19th-Century Evangelical, led by Arnold Nelson at 6:30 p.m. and Chancel Choir rehearsal at 7 p.m. Friday Nov. 2.

“World Community Day” will be held at First United Methodist Church at 9:30 a.m. and is sponsored by Church Women United. The free meal at the Well will be held at 6:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 will be the Men’s Breakfast, it will be held in the Gathering Hall at 8 a.m.

Lakeside Baptist

Lakeside Baptist will be hosting “Trunk or Treat” 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 31. There will be candy, hot-dogs, chips, tea and Kool-aid. Everyone can wear friendly costumes.

Gospel Beams Church

Rev. F. Ray Ledbetter and the people of the Gospel Beams Church are celebrating its 60th annual Homecoming Celebration Sunday. Rev. Bobby and Karen Scott of Lighthouse Church in Burkburnett, Texas, will be ministering for the morning services. An all-church luncheon will follow and evening services will be dismissed.     For Michael Shank, author of “Muscle and a Shovel,” his came when he attended a Bible study taught by a former co-worker only revealed as Randall.
    Shank will share his story Sunday, Sept. 1, in three services at Eastside Church of Christ.
    Services will be open to the public and are at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
