  •  Duncan First Baptist

Dr. Bryan Pain’s will continue with “Discovering Jesus in John’s Gospel.” The call to worship hymn will be “The Battle Belongs To The Lord” sung by the First Family Choir. First Baptist will host Disaster Relief Oklahoma training at 8 a.m. Saturday in the Family Life Center. Courses will be held on food service (required), mud out, chainsaw, water purification, and damage assessment.

Dr. Ernie Perkins and Dr. Keith Miles will lead revival services beginning this Sunday morning through Wednesday evening.

The church has designated Sunday evening as Youth night with activities following the evening service and Children’s night Wednesday before the evening service.

  •  Ray of Hope

Sunday services begin with a variety of morning classes for all ages. Pastor Mike McCord will be continuing the series, “Been There, Done That.”

Wednesday nights, ministry for the entire family begins with a meal at 6 p.m. and services at 7 p.m. Adults meet in the sanctuary for Bible study. Nursery and pre-school classes are provided for all services.

GBC will have a booth at the Main Street Cruisin’ The Chisholm Trail Car Show this Saturday. Stop by and visit and get a free bottle of water.

The senior adults will be attending the Traveling Senior Saints Singin’ and Praisin’ Day  Tuesday April 23 at Parkview Baptist church.

It’s springtime and that means it’s time for the Traveling Senior Saints 10th annual Singin’ and Praisin’ Day hosted by Parkview Baptist Church, Duncan from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.

There is no cost for the senior adults. A chicken spaghetti lunch will be provided for all who attend.

The April free community meal will be from 5–6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The menu will be meat loaf, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, green peas, salad, and cake.

    For Michael Shank, author of “Muscle and a Shovel,” his came when he attended a Bible study taught by a former co-worker only revealed as Randall.
    Shank will share his story Sunday, Sept. 1, in three services at Eastside Church of Christ.
    Services will be open to the public and are at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
