  •  Stephens United Methodist

Sunday’s message is titled “A Scent Pleasing to the Lord .” Pastor Mikel Araujo is preaching a five week series of sermons “Come To Your Senses.” This is the third message of the series.

A nursery will be available for ages 0-4 years. SUMC clothes closet will be open to the public from 1-5 p.m. April 17. There will be a large variety of clothes, shoes and household items for those in need.

If you have any gently used items you’d like to donate, you can drop them outside of the church in the bins marked clothes closet.

The church is also collecting canned goods for Christians Concerned.

  •  Immanuel Baptist

Roy Rochell will be ministering this Sunday morning as a guest speaker and Worship Pastor Brian Holland will lead the praise and worship.

Wednesdays are full of children’s activities as well. Wednesday evening  meals begin being served at 5:30 p.m.

Everyone able to participate in “Walk A Mile” to focus attention on the plight of foster children in the community will meet at 9 a.m. April 27 at Fuqua Park. Anyone who would like to donate a new pair of children’s shoes or a suitcase with rollers to be given to foster children is encouraged to do so at the park or drop them by the church.

  •  Elk Avenue Church of Christ

The Spring Gospel Revival Meeting will be April 24–28, with guest evangelist David Kelley of Arlington, Texas.

Everyone is invited to attend these revival services, which will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, and at 1:15 p.m. Sunday.

In the morning worship service, Bro. Randy Southerland will bring the message “Satan Bound, Satan Loosed” Revelation 20.

In the evening worship service, Bro. Randy Southerland will bring the message “Decisions Determine Destiny” Daniel 1.

Wednesday night service and activities include Prayer Time, youth activities, and The Gospel Project at 6 p.m. and Sanctuary Bible Study at 6:30 p.m.

    Oklahomans are being asked to focus on water conservation and stewardship and continue to keep drought-affected areas in their thoughts. A state-wide day of prayer has been set for 6 p.m. Sept. 18, backed by Oklahoma Conservation Districts, Oklahoma Conference of Churches and Whole Creation Community partnership.

    For Michael Shank, author of “Muscle and a Shovel,” his came when he attended a Bible study taught by a former co-worker only revealed as Randall.
    Shank will share his story Sunday, Sept. 1, in three services at Eastside Church of Christ.
    Services will be open to the public and are at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
