Children will take part in Summer SonShine for Kids. This year’s summer SonShine will be baseball themed. The kids are geared up and ready to step up to the plate on Wednesday nights for a homerun of fun and learning. 
  •  Duncan First Baptist
First Baptist Church of Duncan will offer Sunday school bible study classes for adults, youth, and children followed by worship services.  Dr. Bryan Pain’s message will continue with “Discovering Jesus in John’s Gospel.” Child care is available for both morning and evening services.
A few spaces remain for the First Baptist Child Development Center summer day camp for pre K – 5th grade May 30–Aug. 30. For information on this CDC activity, call 580-252-5887.

  •  True Gospel Tabernacle
Come and magnify the Lord at True Gospel Tabernacle. Pastor is Suff. Bishop Sherman P. Tyler Sr. Sunday starts with prayer led by the pastor, followed by Sunday school for all ages and ending with a dynamic praise and worship service. For more information call 580-467-2555 or 580-252-7283  .
  •  Tanglewood Bible Fellowship
Mike Palovik will lead the call to worship from Psalm 23. This will be followed by congregational worship for the whole family. Children will then be dismissed to Super Summer Session 1 and in the main  auditorium, Dr. Brad McCoy will teach on the topic “Nazareth: A Biblical Black Hole Which Teaches Us the Significance of What People Tend to See as Small/Unimportant.” 
After the message, the Super Summer program for 5th grade and below moves to Session 2, the  Uth Group will proceed to the Youth Room, adults will meet in the auditorium for sharing/prayer led by Rick Buchanan, and the Young Adult Class will meet in the pastor’s office.
The monthly Men’s Breakfast will meet from 6:40-7:30 a.m. Monday at Duncan Regional Hospital.
At 9 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Ladies AM Bible Study will meet. Wednesday evening services for the entire family will meet from 7-8 p.m. at the church.

    Oklahomans are being asked to focus on water conservation and stewardship and continue to keep drought-affected areas in their thoughts. A state-wide day of prayer has been set for 6 p.m. Sept. 18, backed by Oklahoma Conservation Districts, Oklahoma Conference of Churches and Whole Creation Community partnership.

    Almost everyone has at least one defining experience in their life which makes them take a closer look at all the beliefs they hold.
    For Michael Shank, author of “Muscle and a Shovel,” his came when he attended a Bible study taught by a former co-worker only revealed as Randall.
    Shank will share his story Sunday, Sept. 1, in three services at Eastside Church of Christ.
    Services will be open to the public and are at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
