Evening activities include choir practice at 4 p.m., youth meetings at 5 p.m. and then worship. Members will vote following the evening service, which will include a program about the Youth Falls Creek session.
On Wednesdays, Loops of Love knit and crochet time is from 10 a.m. until noon. Prayer service, Youth Bible Study and Teamkids each begin at 6 p.m.
The monthly Women’s Bible Study luncheon will begin noon Thursday, with Meg Strange leading the devotional. For more information, call 580-439-5335.
  •  West Side Christian
Rev. Loma Sullivan, associate regional pastor of the Disciples of Christ, will be present at West Side Christian Church this Sunday to conduct an installation service for Rev. Terry Schlein.
Schlein’s sermon title will be “A Little Man Meets a Big God,” based on Luke 19:1 and his children’s sermon will be “Who Are Your Friends?” with scripture text 1 Corinthians 15:33. The choir will sing “Walk Like Jesus.” A meal will follow the church service. Meat and dessert will be provided, and members of the congregation will be responsible for side dishes.
The Stewardship Team will meet on Monday at 6 p.m. Meeting on at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday will be the elders and diaconate and the Leadership Team at 7 p.m. The choir will rehearse at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. For more information call 580-255-2825.

Interim Pastor James Swain will be presenting the lesson this Sunday morning. He is preaching a series called “the TEN” as he discusses fresh and relevant information concerning the Ten Commandments and their effect on lives today. Brian Holland will be leading the contemporary worship service. Wednesday evening classes are 6-7 p.m. Adults meet weekly in the Fellowship Hall for a cool glass of lemonade while they hear a series titled “Questions Jesus Asked,” taught by Brian Holland.
Falls Creek for the Youth will be July 8-12 and a parent/camper meeting will be on June 26. The youth will also make a trip to Six Flags on Thursday, June 20.

    Oklahomans are being asked to focus on water conservation and stewardship and continue to keep drought-affected areas in their thoughts. A state-wide day of prayer has been set for 6 p.m. Sept. 18, backed by Oklahoma Conservation Districts, Oklahoma Conference of Churches and Whole Creation Community partnership.

    For Michael Shank, author of “Muscle and a Shovel,” his came when he attended a Bible study taught by a former co-worker only revealed as Randall.
    Shank will share his story Sunday, Sept. 1, in three services at Eastside Church of Christ.
    Services will be open to the public and are at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
