  •  First United Methodist
Sunday, June 9, the music includes an arrangement of Amazing Grace. It is called “Grace” and puts the familiar words to a new melody. Alyssa Flesher will be singing the introit.
Dr. Tolle will continue with the sermon series UnShackled – Finding True Freedom: Living in Christ. The scripture is Galatians 2:15. The reader will be Martha Burger.
FUMC youth head to Youth Force on Sunday afternoon. They will spend the week helping repair homes in the Fletcher area.
  •   New Hope Baptist
In the morning worship service Bro. Randy Southerland will bring the message, “Rescue The Perishing” – Matthew 28:18-20. Music provided by Lisa Taylor and John Cornish. In the evening worship service, Bro. Randy Southerland will bring the message. Music by Delbert Morrison.
Wednesday night services and activities include Prayer Time, youth activities and The Gospel Project at 6 p.m. and Sanctuary Bible Study at 6:30 p.m.

The church will open its clothes closet to the public from 1-4 p.m. Saturday. There is a huge selection of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, books, and some household goods, free to the public.
Pastor Mikel Araujo will be leading the service Sunday. This will be the fourth sermon from the series “The Radical Sayings of Jesus.”
A nursery is available for ages 0-4 years. There are also adult, youth, and children classes.

Eli Gardner will bring both Sunday messages as he visits in view of a call to be pastor of Comanche’s First Baptist Church. A lunch on the grounds will follow the morning service, with a time for members to become acquainted with Bro. Gardner and his wife, Samantha.

    Oklahomans are being asked to focus on water conservation and stewardship and continue to keep drought-affected areas in their thoughts. A state-wide day of prayer has been set for 6 p.m. Sept. 18, backed by Oklahoma Conservation Districts, Oklahoma Conference of Churches and Whole Creation Community partnership.

    Almost everyone has at least one defining experience in their life which makes them take a closer look at all the beliefs they hold.
    For Michael Shank, author of “Muscle and a Shovel,” his came when he attended a Bible study taught by a former co-worker only revealed as Randall.
    Shank will share his story Sunday, Sept. 1, in three services at Eastside Church of Christ.
    Services will be open to the public and are at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
