Elm Street resident’s truck damaged by paintball attack

DUNCAN — Duncan Police Department is investigating a vandalism incident, where someone used a paintball gun to shoot orange paint at a Duncan resident’s pickup truck.

Officer Nathan Carrio was dispatched to the truck owner’s home in the 1300 block of West Elm for a vandalism report. The incident took place about 10:45 p.m. Monday.

“(The truck owner) was sitting on his front porch when he saw an early ’90s GMC/Chevy pickup with a thick red line down the entire side drive by,” Carrio wrote in his report.

“An occupant used a paintball gun to shoot orange colored paint at (the owner’s) pickup that was parked in front of his residence. I observed the orange paint splatter on the driver’s side back part of the cab. The suspect vehicle left and turned south on 14th.”

The truck owner was unable to supply a suspect description to Carrio for the report.
