New owners offer stability, optimism

The Duncan Banner

DUNCAN — The acquisition of automobile dealerships for Chrysler-Dodge-Ram-Jeep and Chevrolet-Buick-GMC by Randy Byford and David LeNorman is good news for Duncan, Stephens County and southwest Oklahoma.

Both men have local ties and solid roots here. Byford graduated from Comanche High, LeNorman from Duncan High. Both are known to the area. Byford has been a successful businessman in Chickasha and Norman. LeNorman was a primary catalyst in the creation and development of Duncan’s Taylor LeNorman-McCasland Cancer Center.

Both know and understand the strength of our area. They like it here. They sense the potential. And they pledge a “do it right the first time” and “make a positive difference” philosophy to their employees, their customers and the community.

Providing stability in so important a business is akin to bringing in a new industry. We welcome them “back” and we wish them well.
