  • 3-11 Obit Charles Heaton.jpg Charles Luther Heaton ‘Ole Luke/Duke’

Charles Luther Heaton passed away on March 9, 2014, at his home. Luke as many knew him, or “Ole Luke” or Luke Duke as he referred to himself, leaves behind his beautiful daughter, Harlee Beth Heaton and son, Michael Chance Heaton, mother Laura K. Carter, Father Danny L. Heaton, stepfather Sam Carter, and his brothers, Adam and Daniel Heaton. Luke’s entire family would rival the sports section, so I’ll leave it at that.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 2 p.m. Friday in the Glory Bound Church in Marlow.

Poll

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
