Don Hodges, of Comanche, passed away Friday evening, Oct. 11, 2013, following a sudden illness. He was 45 years old.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church, with Bro. Trent Young officiating, under direction of Comanche Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Don was born April 6, 1968, in Guthrie, to Tom and Ann Hughes Hodges. After graduating from Comanche High School, Don attended OSU-Okmulgee, obtaining a degree in photography.
He is survived by his children: Ashley and Shane Mohamed, Marlow, Rick Hodges, Eufala; two grandchildren: Lane and Macy, Marlow; his mother, Ann Newsom, Duncan; four brothers: Steve Hodges and wife Kelli, Russellville, Ark., Marty Hodges and wife Dixie, Duncan, Randy Hodges and wife Kim, Comanche, and Jason Hodges and wife Jennifer, Comanche; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and several others who just claim to be.
Don was preceded in death by his father, Tom Hodges; and his grandparents.
