James "Jimmy" Green

DUNCAN — April 23, 1955-March 30, 2014

Jimmy Green, 58, of Duncan, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Faith Church, with Rev. Wayne Morrow and Rev. David Morrow officiating. Interment will be at the Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Family visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:30-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jimmy was born April 23, 1955 in Wichita Falls to Roy Austin and Lilly Marie (Downey) Green, he worked as a hair stylist and coolant tech. Jimmy and Shirley were married Aug. 6, 1984 in Wichita Falls.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley of the home, sons Bennie Green Evans and his wife Joni, John Hudson and his wife Rachel and Mark Hudson and his wife Candace, brothers Kay F. Green of Iowa Park, Texas, Roy Don Green of Duncan, Kenneth Green of Wichita Falls and Roger Green of Mounds, Okla., a sister, Kathy Grigg of Duncan, grandchildren Trey, Tanner and Autumn Weston, Hunter Landis, Kalan Hudson, Morgan Hudson, Emily Hudson, Luke Hudson, Aaron Hudson and Victoria Boudiette, Hallie Green Evans and Taylor Green Evans.

Jimmy was preceded in death by a daughter; Staci Hudson, who passed in December 2012 and parents Roy Austin and Lilly Marie Green.

Pallbearers will be John Hudson, Mark Hudson, Trey Weston, Tanner Weston, Terry Grigg and Levi Green.
