DUNCAN — Jacqulyn Ann (Jackie) Wallick, 80, was embraced by the Lord on Sunday March 2, 2014 at the OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City, after a short illness and with her family all around her.

Jackie was born Jan. 10, 1934 to Jack and Violet Slaton in San Angelo, Texas. She was married to Gene (Fox) Wallick on Sept. 4, 1952 in Russeville, Ark.

Jackie was a Technical Secretary at the Engineering Division of Halliburton Corp. for 35 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Duncan.  She spent her retirement small farming, gardening, rescuing dogs, cats and horses and operating the Vintage Rose Herb and Craft Co. from her farm. She also enjoyed rendezvous  with her friends from Ft. Washita.

She is survived by a brother, Paul Slaton of Russeville, Ark.; a daughter, Sondra Gene Allen; two grandchildren, Michael and Lindey; and one great-grandson, Layton, all of Kingston, Oklahoma.

She was preceeded in death by her parents and her husband.
