Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Madge (Moore) Foster, 73, of Ratliff City were Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Alma Cemetery with Rev. Sid Bazzrea and Rev. Monk Firestone officiating. Services were under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.
Betty was born July 3, 1940, in Ringling to the late Mr. Lake S. Moore and Mrs. Nora Christine (McMillan) Moore. She departed this life Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, in Duncan.
Betty was raised in this area attending school at Ringling, Zaneis and Velma Alma. She and the late Mr. Milford “Buster” Wayne Foster were married for over 55 years. He preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2011.
Betty was always a devoted homemaker and was employed outside the home at several local business. She loved playing dominoes and taking care of her plants. She was a longtime and devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Countyline.
Also preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Patsy Norton and brother, Benny A. Moore.
Survivors include her sons, Darrell Foster and wife Melissa of Arkansas, Wayne Foster and wife Susan of Oklahoma, and Chris Foster of the home; daughter, Patricia Austin and husband Jim of Oklahoma; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Davis of Oklahoma and brother, James “Sonny” Moore and wife Phyllis of Oklahoma; numerous other family and friends.
Casket bearers are grandchildren Tabitha Weaver, Jerica Oxford, Seth Foster, Jeremy Foster, C.J. Foster and Mickie Marsh.
