Louise M. Fleetwood, 84, of Duncan passed away on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 at Wilkins Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Standefer officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Louise was born February 21, 1929 at Hope, Arkansas to George W. & Zulah (Burke) Morton. She married J.D. Fleetwood on December 4, 1953 here in Duncan and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1987. She was an active member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church and worked in retail sales at Payne's Jewelry and Traditions, both here in Duncan.
Louise is survived by three children; Jim Fleetwood & wife Barbara of Duncan, OK, Lisa Calger of Duncan, Ok and Cindy Longendelpher & husband Ernie of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other family and close friends.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.D. and two sisters Irene Walton and Alice McCorkle.
Pallbearers will be Mike Cornforth, Billy Almon, Randy Mitchell, Les Calger, Jim Pennington and Jim Bethany.
