Michael Ernest Tullis

DUNCAN — May 8, 1953 — Oct. 10, 2012

Michael Ernest Tullis, of Duncan, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at Grantham Funeral Home, Pastor Jason Farris officiating, and interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton. Arrangements are under the direction of Grantham Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at Grantham’s Funeral Home.

Mike was born on May 8, 1953 in Huntsville, Ala. to Ernest Tullis and Elsie Milton Tullis. Mike was employed at Rerun Junction in Duncan and is a former employee of the Power Shop, also in Duncan. Mike enjoyed bowling on a league and was an active member of Duncan People First. Mike loved old time gospel music, Elvis, University of Oklahoma football and jigsaw puzzles.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Elsie Tullis. He lives behind numerous friends.

Honorary pallbearers are his friends and house mates at Duncan Group Homes; Mike Bishop, John Saville, Chad Evans, Don Howeth and TJ Vandagriff.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Duncan People First.
