Jessie Tucker, 23 of Duncan, passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 at Faith Temple Church of God, with the Rev. Wayne Morrow, Rev. David Morrow officiating and Rev. Mark Morrow assisting.
Interment will be at Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 at the funeral home.
Jessie was born Aug. 4, 1987 in Duncan to Jack Tucker and Tamarah Sizemore Tucker.
Jessie attended Duncan High School. He was a member of Faith Temple Church of God. Jessie loved the Texas Rangers and would be so excited to see them going to the World Series. Jessie loved to make people laugh. He always had a funny joke to tell and if it wasn’t a joke, then he was doing an impersonation of someone, which would crack you up. He so enjoyed being with his family and friends. He liked to go fishing with his buddies and just hanging out.
Jessie was an awesome son, brother, daddy, uncle and friend. We will miss his great sense of humor and his gift of laughter. Jessie loved everyone and he was loved by everyone.
Survivors include a daughter: Avery Lynnette Tucker, of the home, the love of his life. He loved his baby girl. Fiance: Missy; Mother: Tamarah Enocksen and husband Richard, of Duncan; Father: Jack Tucker and wife Sonya, of Dallas, Texas; Brothers: Travis Tucker, of Saginaw, Texas, Jeremy Jones, of Duncan, Josh Jones, of Atlanta, Ga. and Jacob Jones and wife Melanie of Duncan; grandmother: Jackie Tucker, of Duncan; nieces, Harley Tucker, of Saginaw, Texas, Jacobie Jones, Tabatha Majors, and Mallory Majors, all of Duncan; nephews: Chason Tucker, of Saginaw, Texas and Noah Jones, of Duncan; aunt: Traleesa Kerry; uncle: Charles Chumley; cousins: Shaundale and Ben Schaffner, Kerra Chumley, Paige Chumley and Jessicah Sizemore.
Jessie was preceded in death by his Papa, Raymond Tucker; grandfather, Jessie Sizemore; grandmother, Essie Guthrie and uncle, Jessie Lynn Sizemore.
Pallbearers will be Trevor Hawkins, Scott Hawkins, Dakota Morrow, Shea Doughty, Derrick Bernard and Austin Hines.
Honorary Bearers will be Travis Tucker, Jeremy Jones, Josh Jones, Jacob Jones, and Jody Davis.

Charles Luther Heaton ‘Ole Luke/Duke’
Charles Luther Heaton passed away on March 9, 2014, at his home.
Luke as many knew him, or “Ole Luke”or “Luke Duke” as he referred to himself, leaves behind his beautiful daughter, Harlee Beth Heaton; son, Michael Chance Heaton; mother, Laura K. Carter; father, Danny L. Heaton; step-father, Sam Carter; and his brothers: Adam and Daniel Heaton. Luke’s entire family would rival the sports section, so I’ll leave it at that.
Memorial service to celebrate his life will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel.

Edith Lucille Hoard, 97, of Duncan, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Country Club Care.
Graveside funeral will be Wednesday, March 12, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Terry Schlein officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

Janet Kincannon Carpenter, 81, longtime resident of Duncan, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014, in Duncan, surrounded by her loving family.

Jacqulyn Ann Wallick
Jacqulyn Ann (Jackie) Wallick, 80, was embraced by the Lord on Sunday March 2, 2014 at the OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City, after a short illness and with her family all around her.
Jackie was born Jan. 10, 1934 to Jack and Violet Slaton in San Angelo, Texas. She was married to Gene (Fox) Wallick on Sept. 4, 1952 in Russeville, Ark.
Charles Ronald Jones
Charles (Charlie) Ronald Jones, of Lindsay, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Charlie was born on Feb. 4, 1938 in Comanche, Okla., to Emma and Herman Jones. He grew up in a large family with three sisters and five brothers. As a boy, he loved to play baseball, basketball and hunt with his brothers and close friends.
Ernest Alexander, 87, of Duncan, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, in the Sterling House in Duncan.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Dean Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan Cemetery.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Jerry Louise (Collins) Turner, 76, of Ringling are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Church of God in Divine Order of Ringling with Rev. Ellen Abshire and Rev. Virgil Ridenour officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Powell Cemetery in Marshall County.
