Minnie Minerva Waller, 85, of Marlow, died Friday, April 26, 2013, in Marlow.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at the Church of Christ, Marlow, with Rodger Schwenn of Sullivan Village Church of Christ, Lawton officiating.
Burial will be at the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of People’s Cooperative Funeral Home, Lone Wolf, Okla.
Minnie Minerva Waller was born to Elbert Veal and Hester Dolly (Rhoten) Isbell in Holdenville, on Nov. 25, 1925 and departed this life in Marlow, on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the age of 85 years, 5 months and a day.
Minnie grew up in Springtown, Texas, and in Warren, Okla., where she graduated high school. She married Donald Anderson on April 10, 1946 in Vernon, Texas. She later married James Kenneth Waller on July 30, 1973, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
She moved to Marlow in 1975. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Marlow and a member of the Marlow Garden Club. She enjoyed embroidering, working in her yard, and having large cookouts and dinner with family and friends. She was a wonderful cook, especially her desserts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and a brother Arthur Isbell.
Survivors include three sons, Danny Anderson and wife Diane of Bartlesville, Russell Anderson and special friend Cheryl Bates of Waggoner, and DL Anderson of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter Lisa Pierce of Marlow; four brothers, Chester Isbell and wife Mary Lou of Blair, EV Isbell and wife Dorothy of Farmington, Fred Isbell of Blair, and Oscar Isbell of Cordell; two sisters, Martha Davis of Marlow, and Beth Ballard of Lawton; nine grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
