Francie retired in 2010 after working for several car dealerships in the Duncan area. She and Curtis loved to travel and spend weekends at their cabin. She was an avid cat lover and was nicknamed “The White Tornado,” because of the spotless home she kept. She was a great cook and loved hosting family Thanksgiving dinner for many years. Francie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Curtis of the home; three sons, James R. Bible and wife Tammy of Holdenville, Bryan T. Bible and wife Brenda of Round Rock, Texas, and David A. Holmes of Duncan; two step-daughters, Anastasia Goforth and husband Mark of Moore, and Amelia Hauck and husband James of Basehor, Kan.; four grandchildren, Brittany and Bradley Bible of Round Rock, Raechel Bible of Holdenville, and Peyton Hauck of Basehor; one sister, Patsy Barrett and husband Jack of Holdenville; a nephew, Michael and wife Tammi and their sons Jordan and Blake of Oolegah.
At her request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Christian Center, 710 E. Plato or Duncan Regional Hospital Foundation.
The family would like to thank Dr. R.J. Weedn, Dr. Winona Mackey, Dr. Nadim Nimeh and Dr. Charles Dickerson for their excellent care of Francie during her illness. A special thanks to the staff of Cancer Center of Southwest Oklahoma, Duncan Regional Hospital and Chisholm Trail Hospice, without whom the journey would have been much harder.
