PRUITT CITY — Funeral Services for Mrs. Loretta Fern (Scribner) Williams, 79, of Pruitt City are scheduled for Thursday at the Shell Street Church of Christ in Healdton with Danny Huntsman officiating. Interment will follow at the Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Loretta was born on Jan. 15, 1934, in Oklahoma City to the late Mr. Wiley Thomas Scribner and Mrs Nellie Jeanette (Goff) Scribner. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday evening, Dec. 9, 2013, at her home in Pruitt City.

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
