DUNCAN — Oct. 13, 1936 — Oct. 7, 2012

Mr. Wayne Kennedy passed away early Sunday morning, Oct. 7, 2012, following a brief illness. He was 75 years old.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 10, at Duncan Four Square Church. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery under direction of Comanche Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday. Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Wayne was born Oct. 13, 1936, in Paris, Texas. On May 13, 1980, he and Patricia Ann Pannell were united in marriage at Wichita Falls, Texas. He enjoyed keeping busy — he was always working. He loved mowing lawns, playing cards, especially “rummy.” He liked to watch WWF wrestling, and he loved being with his dog, Digger.

Survivors include his two children: Angela Sanchez and husband Dino, Duncan, and Timmy Valentine and wife Jada, Duncan; 11 grandchildren: Mason, Heather, Mikka, Tesla, Emily, Eve, Donovan, Taylor, Makayla, Justin and Amanda; and two great-grandchildren: Maylee and Chandler; also his “adopted family,” Mark and Amy Willhite, and Melissa and Chris Keck.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Patricia; a son, Monte Ray Pannell; and a grandchild, Jordyn Sierra Sanchez.

Pallbearers will be Chris Keck, Phillip Aragon, Jimmy Akers, Josh Sanchez, Donovan Martin Jr and Mason Valentine.
