Georgia Lee Prestidge was born Nov. 2, 1932 in Duncan, and passed away in Oklahoma City on Oct. 7, 2012 at the age of 79. She was a former longtime Duncan resident.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at the Unity Missionary Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Dan Standifer with interment to follow at Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Georgia Lee was a homemaker and was very devoted to her family. She was a former member of the Duncan Regional Hospital Auxillary.
She was a member of the Unity Missionary Baptist Church and was very active and was involved with the church choir and teaching Sunday School.
Georgia Lee married Hamer Lee Prestidge on June 4, 1950 in Duncan and he preceded her in death Jan. 29, 2002.
Survivors include two children, Ty and Meg Prestidge, Yukon, Tammy and Steve Clif, Portland, Ore., six grandchildren, Tra Snow, Clif Prestidge, Josh Clift, Casey Prestidge, Cole Prestidge and Chad Clift, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon V. and Thelma Louise Higgison Hall and a sister Julia Ann Howard.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Twyla Kay Tinkle Sampson
A celebration of the life of Twyla K. Sampson, 77, of Duncan, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the First Christian Church in Duncan. Services are under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Twyla was born Feb. 20, 1937, in Duncan, to Willard and Ruth Tinkle and died April 16, 2014, after a brief illness. Twyla lived her entire life in the Duncan area.

Norma Janice Sutherland Good, 76, passed from this life on April 15, 2014, at Tomball, Texas, because of health complications.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Harold Davis, 86, of Temple, departed this life on April 15, 2014, in Duncan.
