Mary Frances Davis, 91, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at her home in Marlow.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Bro. Robert Goodman officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Mary Frances was born Sunday, Feb. 12, 1922, in Alma, to Nathan Henry and Jessie Lee Parker Stark. Mary Frances attended Gatlin, Stover and Rush Springs schools. She lived east of Marlow for 65 years before moving to Marlow in 2008.
On Aug. 1, 1942, Mary Frances married Theo Davis in Marlow. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2004.
Mary Frances helped on the family farm and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting and playing dominoes. She loved spending time with her grandkids. Mary Frances was a long time member and served as Elder at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Marlow.
Survivors include three sons: William Boyd Davis and wife Linda of McAllen, Texas, James Lloyd Davis and wife Katie and Larry Don Davis, both of Marlow; eight grandchildren: Kathleen Prahl and husband Robert, James Davis and wife Noelle, Kenneth Davis and wife Gabi, Ann Jenkins and husband Bill, Eric Davis and wife Juanita, Crystal Kizarr and husband Bruce, Lesley Davis-Roberts and husband Shawn, Courtney Davis; 19 great grandchildren; brother, Joe Stark and wife Earnastene.
Mary Frances was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Jim, Paul, John and N.H. Stark; two sisters: Ann Cochran and Irene McCauley.
Pallbearers will be James Davis, Bruce Kizarr, Roy McCauley, Buck McCauley. Honorary pallbearer is Bill Carter.
