Long time Marlow resident Larry Wayne Kizarr Sr., 67, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, in Oklahoma City.
Graveside memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, in the Marlow Cemetery, with Kobi Kizarr officiating.
Larry was born Monday, Jan. 28, 1946, in Marlow, to AJ and Esther Williams Kizarr.
Larry lived in Oklahoma City for the last year after spending most of his life in the Marlow area. He graduated from Marlow High School and worked many years for Halliburton, before retiring in 1999.
On Dec. 20, 2007, Larry married Reta Moore in Las Vegas, Nev. Larry enjoyed spending as much time with his family as he could. He also enjoyed his animals, fishing, the outdoors, and working in his yard. Larry was a member of Red Red Rose and Immanuel Baptist Church in Duncan.
Survivors include his wife, Reta of the home; two sons: Larry Wayne Kizarr Jr. and wife Leslie of Edmond, Kevin Kizarr and Cristi Wells of Luther; daughter, Crystal Shahan and husband Johnny of Duncan; four grandchildren: Katera Shahan, Stephanie Kizarr, Kobi Kizarr and Kaden Kizarr; brother, Robert Kizarr and wife Sharon of Marlow; and sister, Sue Loveday and husband Carl of Oklahoma City.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Kizarr.
