Jayne L. Williams

Dec. 26, 1918 — Aug. 31, 2013

Chickasha — Jayne L. Williams, 94, a former resident of Duncan, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, in Chickasha.

Graveside Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at Duncan Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Buchanan of the Michigan Ave. Baptist Church, Chickasha, will be officiating. Services are under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.

Jayne was born Dec. 26, 1918 in Shamrock to James F. and Ettie (Harper) Touchatt. She married Warner Thomas Williams on March 13, 1939. He preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1989.  

She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and working in her garden and flower beds. Jayne will be dearly missed and will leave a void  in all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter Gaitha Kemper and husband Ron of Creede, Colo. and Chickasha; a grandson Raymon Kemper and wife Dawn of Creede, Colo. and Denise Kemper (wife of grandson, Galen Kemper) of Marlow; seven great-grandchildren: Johnathan, Crystal, Angel, Ronald and Jennyfer Kemper and Robert and Lance Munoz. She also survived by two great-great-grandchildren Lovella Kemper and James John Davis and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Jayne was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter LaWarner J. Weaver and a grandson Galen Kemper.

Pallbearers will be Raymon Kemper, Lance Munoz, Ronald D. Kemper, Gail Touchatt and Bob Touchatt.
