Billy Ray Hill, 86, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, in Marlow.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct.28, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Goodman officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Family visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
Billy was born Sunday, June 26, 1927, in Lindsay, to Thomas C. and Rosa Mae Wilson Hill. Billy grew up in Lindsay, graduated from Lindsay High School and had lived in the Marlow area since 1952. Billy married Kathryn Louise Graham on Dec. 30, 1956 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him in death Sept. 6, 2012.
Billy worked as a machinist for Halliburton Services, retiring after 32 years of service. He enjoyed squirrel hunting, working in his garden and woodworking. Billy loved visiting with his friends at the coffee shop. He was a longtime member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include sister, Virginia Wright of Calidona, Miss.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Billy was also preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: A.C. Hill, T.C. Hill, Walker Hill, Joe Hill, G.W. Hill; two sisters Peggy Martin, Orpha Hill.
