“Big John” Ruthstrom, big in life and big in heart; John was known as “Big John” on the football field and in the oilfield. John never contemplated retirement. He was employed as an oilfield business development manager.

John loved people and he never met a stranger. He was a very giving person and used his outgoing personality to share his extensive knowledge, experiences, and stories with others. He developed others’ abilities and skills and also provided the “pat-on-the back” which kept John energized.

John leaves behind many loving family members and friends.
