Elizabeth Ann Lee, 68, passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at her home in Duncan. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4 at Comanche First Baptist Church with Pastor Eli Gardner officiating. Services are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. Family visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Elizabeth was born Sunday, Dec. 31, 1944, in Duncan to William T. and Savannah (Wilkerson) Gordon. Elizabeth grew up in Comanche and attended Comanche Schools. She spent time living in Albuquerque, N.M., Pearl City, Hawaii, Ramstein, Germany, and Plattsmouth, Neb. before returning to Comanche in 1985. In 2002, she moved to Duncan.
Elizabeth attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and was an ICU nurse at Duncan Regional Hospital for over 15 years. Elizabeth was an avid OU Sooners fan and loved going to OU football games. When she was able, she enjoyed traveling and visiting with friends and family. Elizabeth was very proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Survivors include son Rodney Lee and wife Dede of Duncan, daughter Michele Tilley and husband Jerry of Comanche, three grandchildren K.K. Tiffany and husband Andrew of Moore, Samantha Villeda and husband Rodolfo of Comanche, Kyle Lee and wife Libby of Weatherford, one great-grandson Ricky Salazar of Comanche, three brothers Billy Gordon and wife Brenda of Perkins, Arthur Gordon and wife Sun of Colorado Springs, Colo., and William Gordon and wife Releta of Duncan, three sisters Betty Solie and husband Burt of Comanche, Mary Casavan and husband Art of Grand Forks, N.D., and Pam Dunham and husband David of Rosenberg, Texas, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents.
