Jo Ann McFatridge

April 14, 1933 — April 4, 2013

DUNCAN — Jo Ann McFatridge, 79, former longtime resident of Duncan, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at San Antonio, Texas.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 8, in the Duncan Cemetery with Rev. Billy Morgan officiating. Burial is under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Jo Ann was born April 14, 1933, at Comanche, Okla., to Carl & Beulah (Nichols) Waldrop.  

She graduated from Comanche High School and attended Oklahoma State University.  

She married Wendell H. McFatridge on Aug. 16, 1950, at Wichita Falls, Texas, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2011.  

She was retired in 1982 from Halliburton Services, attended the Freedom Biker Church and enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who where her greatest passion.

Jo Ann is survived by a daughter, Jackie Pannell of San Antonio, Texas; daughter-in-law, Vannette McFatridge of Katy, Texas; three grandchildren: Carrie Sides of Edmond, Justin McFatridge and wife Emily of Tulsa, and Tyler Pannell of San Antonio; and five great-grandchildren: Cara Sides, Jack McFatridge, Lucy McFatridge, Dylan Pannell and Lauren Pannell.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son, Darrell McFatridge.
