Bobby James “Bob” Miller of Comanche, passed away Wednesday evening, March 27, 2013, in the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 81.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Dow Pannell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, under direction of Comanche Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday.
Bob was born July 3, 1931, in Duncan, to Earl and Lola Mae Tussy Miller. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He owned and operated Miller 66 Service Station for over 47 years.
Bob and Linda Varnell were united in marriage in October 1970, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was baptized at Countyline Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; a son, Bobby Miller and wife Lynn, Edmond; a daughter, LaDonna Miller, Dallas, Texas; and a sister, Wanda Moore and husband Don, Elmore City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers: C.B. Miller, Paul Miller and Pat Miller.
Serving as pallbearers will be J.D. Keenan, Jimmy Clark, Joe Mathes, Harvey Garrett, Dale Sutton and Russell Combs.
