Eleanor Faye Vanlandingham, 94, former resident of Duncan, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Grace Living Center in El Reno.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 11, at First Christian Church with the Rev. Arnold Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens under direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Eleanor was born Nov. 1, 1918, at Orange, Texas, to Harvey M. and Lois Bailey Robertson. She had a long career with Wilkerson Insurance Agency before going to work for the Lindley Clinic as a medical clerk. She was an active member of the First Christian Church, a member of the Rebekah Lodge, lifetime member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Christian Womens Fellowship at First Christian Church.
Eleanor is survived by three children: Elaine Bowers and husband John of Santa Rosa, Calif., Joe Vanlandingham and wife Jan of Edmond, and Sharon Marker and husband Phil of Yukon; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Hulen Vanlandingham of Tennessee.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Doris Cross.
