Gary Don Wilson

March 17, 1952 — April 29, 2013

CLUSTER CITY — Gary Don Wilson, 61, of Custer City, a former Duncan resident passed from this life Monday, April 29, 2013, in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, with the loving hands of his family on him.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 3, in the Duncan Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Haney officiating. Services are under direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Family will received friends for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Gary was born March 17, 1952, in Duncan, the son of Benjaman and Paralee Reynolds Wilson. He attended the Duncan High School. He worked in the oil field his whole life. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, loved his friends but his true love was his family his boys and his grandchildren. He sparkled when he talked about them, and was their biggest fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dale Wilson.

Survivors include three sons: Chad Wilson his wife Maranda of Guthrie, Cory Wilson his wife Lori of Leedey, and Josh Braden Wilson his wife Reina of Clinton; a brother, Benny Wilson his wife Shannon of Duncan; two sisters: Gloria O’Neal her husband Bill, and Carolyn Davis her husband Brent, both of Duncan; and eight beautiful grandchildren: Jordan, Avery, Adysen, Payton, and Luke Wilson, Madison, Alexandra and Catherine Braden; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Faulkner, Chuck Ackley, Mike Myers, Gene Rutherford, Jason Hulin, Terrell Russ, Terry Burns, Jordan Wilson and Luke Wilson.
