Beverlie Barbara Lowe

June 6, 1924 — March 24, 2014

MARLOW — Beverlie Barbara Lowe, 89, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, in Duncan.

Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marlow, with Father Peter Jandaczek officiating.

Beverlie was born Friday, June 6, 1924, in Rice Lake, Wis., to Archie and Elizabeth Doonan Baland. After graduating from high school, Beverlie married Lawrence Milton Lowe on Feb. 13, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minn. He preceded her in death Jan. 21, 2013.

Beverlie lived in Wichita, Kan., from 1945 to 1974. From 1974 to 1998, she lived in Reno, Nev., where she worked as an accountant for Plaza Resorts. In 1998, Beverlie moved to Duncan.

She enjoyed visiting casinos to play the slots and spending as much time with her family as she could. Beverlie especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marlow.

Survivors include three sons: Lawrence Lowe Jr. and wife Joanne of Ninnekah, Brother Richard Lowe of St. Louis, Mo., Dennis Lowe and wife Jody of Seattle, Wash.; six grandchildren: Chris Lowe, Kathy Wenzel, David Lowe, Heather Tanner, Teri Shanley and Kenny Lowe; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Beverlie was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tom Lowe; and two sisters.
