DUNCAN — Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend, Telisa Dawn Smith, 27, of Duncan, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, in Houston, Texas.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Billy Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Marlow Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Telisa was born Tuesday, March 11, 1986, in Lawton. She lived in this area all of her life and graduated from Marlow High School in 2005. Education was very important to Telisa. She received her associate’s degree and was attending Cameron to complete her bachelor’s degree in business. She worked as a bill processor for Solutions in Duncan.

Telisa loved dancing and helped teach ballet at the Heartbeat Studio in Duncan. She loved every form of dance, from hip hop to ballroom dancing.

Telisa enjoyed many activities including wake boarding, cooking, target shooting and riding motorcycles. Most of all, she loved spending time with her boyfriend, family and friends. Telisa was a member of the Freedom Biker Church in Duncan.

Survivors include boyfriend, Josiah Harwell of Duncan; mother, Connie Davis of Marlow; brother, Darrel Greene and wife Beverly of Eufaula; sisters: Briquetta Hall of Marlow, and Rose Marie Holthe and husband Sam of Duncan; father, Mike Davis of Duncan; brother, Dee Davis and wife Kris of Central High; paternal grandmother, Fern Davis of Marlow; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Telisa was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Opal Lindsey; grandfathers, Farris Aurell Lindsey and Durvod Davis; uncle, Tony Davis; cousin, James Lindsey.

Pallbearers will be Billy Crawford, Jason Munda, Matt Munda, Michael Lindsey, John Lindsey, Steve Lindsey. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Davis III, Jesse Galvan, nephews and friends.
