Robert Lee Gilmore

WAURIKA — April 16, 1968 — Jan. 15, 2012

Robert Lee Gilmore was born April 16, 1968 in Bowie, Texas, to William Sidney “Billy” Lee and Carol Phillips Gilmore. He passed from this life Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at Jefferson County Hospital at the age of 43.

Lee and Lisa Wallace were married Feb. 28, 1987 in Bowie. Lee owned and operated Gilmore Supply in Waurika. He was also a rancher. He was a member of Addington Baptist Church and the American Bucking Bulls Association.

He is survived by his wife Lisa, of the home; his children, Sydney Gilmore, Robert Gilmore and William Phillips; mother Carol Gilmore; siblings Billy Gilmore, Jason Gilmore and Denise Bacon and husband, Danny; mother and father-in-law Jerry and Virginia Wallace; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Sidney “Billy” Lee Gilmore, on July 1, 2002.

Funeral service for Lee will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at the Addington Baptist Church, with Rev. Jason Ebenhack officiating. Burial will be in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.

    Twyla was born Feb. 20, 1937, in Duncan, to Willard and Ruth Tinkle and died April 16, 2014, after a brief illness. Twyla lived her entire life in the Duncan area.
