Connie Lea Rains

May 24, 1959 — April 20, 2013

DUNCAN — Connie Lea Rains, 53, of Duncan, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013, in Duncan. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, with Bob Pollock and Terry Lee officiating.  

Interment will follow in Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday.

Connie was born May 24, 1959 in Duncan, the daughter of Charley Ray and Thelma Christine Hanson. She worked as a caregiver in the Duncan area.

She is survived by her parents, Charley and Thelma Hanson of Duncan; her husband, Karl Rains of Duncan; three sons, Kerry Drake of Duncan, Eric Hanson of Wilson, and Kevin Rains and wife Brenda of Duncan; three brothers, Ron Bolton of Lone Grove, Jerry Hanson and wife Sherry of Ardmore, and Billy Hanson and wife Patty of Krum, Texas; three sisters, Rose Lee and husband Terry of Valley Ranch, Texas, Patricia Griffith of Plano, Texas, and Roberta Scroggins of Cumby, Texas; a sister-in-law, Shirley Bolton of Whitesboro, Texas; and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Lee Hanson and Robert Bolton.

Pallbearers will be Kerry Drake, Eric Hanson, Kevin Rains, Wesley Shaw, Tommy Rains, Ronnie Andrews and Joe Clinton.
