David Glenn Brown of Duncan was born to Luther Calvin and Lottie (Avens) Brown Jan. 20, 1942, in Temple and departed this life Jan. 31, 2013, Duncan at the age of 71 years and 11 days.
Memorial Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel in Walters with committal in the Temple Cemetery in Temple. See online guestbook at www.hart-wyattfuneralhome.com.
Glenn grew up at Temple, graduating from THS in 1960. He married Edna Lucille Tullos on June 6, 1962, at Henrietta, Texas. They made their home in Duncan, where he had a welding business for many years.
He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Duncan. Glenn enjoyed hunting elk in Colorado, cat fishing in Cache Creek and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 47 years, Lucille, on July 21, 2006; three sisters: LaRuth McKenzie, Lurlie Williams and Lois Andrews.
Survivors include a son, Chris Brown and wife Nonie of Duncan; a daughter, Jacqueline Reed and husband Darin of Henrietta, Texas; two brothers, Joe Brown of Randlett and Dale Brown of Madill; two sisters: Doris Kollmorgan of Fremont, Neb., and Jean Schneider of Hot Springs, Ark.; three grandchildren: Trevor Vincent of Tucson, Ariz., Tylor Brown of Lawton and Kenley Reed of College Station, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
