OKLAHOMA CITY —
Maureen McClelland Pruett, 82, former resident of Duncan, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at her home in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, at Eastside Church of Christ with Ron Stough officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Maureen was born July 31, 1930, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to John James and Mary Jane Lyttle McClelland. She married Earl Edward Pruett on July 2, 1949, at Chickasha, and he preceded her in death on July 10, 2006. She was a homemaker and had previously worked as an office clerk for Air Power Systems in Tulsa. She was a faithful member of Eastside Church of Christ and enjoyed the fellowship she had with her church family.
Maureen is survived by two daughters: Terri Cummings and husband Sean of Nichols Hills, and Kelli Hale of Broken Arrow; a sister, Annie Byrd of Harrison, Ark.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Maureen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; and a grandchild, Conor Cummings.
Pallbearers will be Sean Cummings, Colin Ledford, Brandon Hale, Ronnie Cooper, Brian Branstetter, Mark Rhoades, Dale Bragg.
