Florence Rightmire

April 25, 1946-May 2, 2014

DUNCAN — Florence Lorraine Rightmire, 68, of Duncan, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 in Duncan.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, Duncan, with Rev. Tracy L. Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 5 at the funeral home.

Florence Lorraine Cole was born on April 25, 1946 in Woodland, Calif. to John and Bea Cole. She graduated from high school in Henderson, Nev. on May 23, 1964 and married Harley D. Rightmire the very next day, May 24, 1964 in Henderson.

She was a Christian woman, baptized at First Baptist Church, Bloomfield, N.M. and was a member of First Baptist Church, Linfield, N.M. In her work career, she was a health care provider with Big 5 Community Services.

Lorraine enjoyed working in her garden. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandson.

Survivors include her husband Harley, of the home, a brother, Richard Cole of Bothel, Wash.; two sisters, JoAnn Tafoya of Las Vegas, N.M. and Jeanette Alexander of Las Vegas, Nev..; a daughter, Adriane Rightmire and a son, Harley Laird Rightmire, both of Duncan; a step-daughter, Jackie Lynn Rightmire of Farmington, N.M.; four grandchildren: Harley Lukas Rightmire of Duncan, Kera Cheyenne Rightmire of Moore, Okla., Connor Seth Rightmire of Duncan and London Oberleas of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one great-grandson and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bea Cole.

Pallbearers will be: Wes Rightmire, Mike Rightmire, David Rightmire, Richard Waldron, Troy Rightmire and Charlie Rightmire.

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
