Greg married the former Rachel Faith Parsons on June 2, 1993 in Ardmore.

Greg attended the Christ Community Church in Ardmore. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, watch movies and listen to music, and continued many of his activities while he fought his six-year battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease. Greg was a fighter and a "true hero" to all that knew him.

His grandparents, Robert and Christine McFatridge, Lester and Wanda Keenan, and D.T. Gleghorn; brother, Darrin McFatridge; and father-in-law, James Parsons, preceded him in death.

Greg is survived by his wife, Rachel McFatridge of the home; son, Trenton McFatridge of Oklahoma City; daughter, Hannah McFatridge of the home; parents, Bill and Sharon McFatridge of Lone Grove, Okla.; grandmother, Dovie Gleghorn of Duncan; brother, Billy McFatridge and wife Joyce of Lone Grove, Okla.; mother-in-law Judy Parsons of Ardmore; sisters-in-law, Heidi Reeves and husband Justin of Hohenwald, Tenn. and Sara Hall and husband Jerrod of Ardmore; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Poll

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
