Naomi Swindell Lawrence

May 3, 1908 — Nov. 19, 2013

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — — Naomi Swindell Lawrence of Little Rock, Ark., died Nov. 19, 2013, at Parkway Health Center.

She was a resident of Duncan from 1971 to 2000. Mrs. Lawrence was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church and Carol Suter Circle. She was also a member of Duncan Arts and Humanities and  the Duncan Elks Country Club.

On Aug. 15, 1925, she married Elmer C. Lawrence in Pauls Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband and son, Carroll E. Lawrence.

She is survived by daughter-in-law, Ethel R. Lawrence; grandchildren: David Lawrence Kuehn and Alan Trugman of Massachusetts, Brenda Lawrence of Arkansas, Kelly and Bob Douglas of Indiana, Eugene and Susan Lawrence of Alabama; great-grandchildren: Nichole Douglas; Joshua Douglas; Michelle Tice; Bradley Moore; Kayla Lawrence and Taylor Lawrence; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at Don Grantham Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, in  Duncan City Cemetery. Dr. Greg Tolle will officiate.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or the charity of choice.
