Eva Marie Susanne Barnard

Nov. 19, 1954 — Nov. 14, 2013

COMANCHE — Eva Marie Susanne Barnard, of Comanche, peacefully passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 14, 2013, in Waurika. She was 58 years old.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Comanche First Baptist Church, with Bro. Eli Gardner officiating, under direction of Comanche Funeral Home.

Eva was born Nov. 19, 1954, in Germany, to Christian and Elizabeth Wunderlich. She and Johnnie Barnard were united in marriage in 1977, in Germany. They came to Comanche in 1982, moving from Temple.

Eva was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, gardening and going to church at the First Baptist Church. She loved pets, especially her cat, “Stripes.” More than anything else, Eva loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Johnnie of the home; two daughters: Linda Barnard, Comanche, and Reanna Villarreal and husband Leo, Duncan; her mother, Elizabeth Wunderlich, Frankfurt, Germany; a brother, Mike Wunderlich, Nuremberg, Germany; two sisters: Regina Wunderlich, Nuremberg, and Sabine Stieglitz and husband Michael, Frankfurt; and other relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.

    Twyla was born Feb. 20, 1937, in Duncan, to Willard and Ruth Tinkle and died April 16, 2014, after a brief illness. Twyla lived her entire life in the Duncan area.

    Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.

    Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, with the Rev. Jay Driskill officiating. Burial will be in the Temple Cemetery under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters.
