Ralph Skiles 62, of Duncan, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Duncan Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Bryan Pain officiating. Interment will be at the Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ralph was born Nov. 2, 1950, in Duncan, to William Eldon and Mildred Elaine McCue Skiles. Ralph was a gradate of Duncan High School and attended three years of college. He worked for Halliburton as a controller.
He married Cathy Dailey on Sept. 27, 1973, in Gulf Port, Miss. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Westside Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy of the home; two sons: Jason Skiles of Comanche, and Josh Skiles and his wife Tammy of Duncan; a sister, Dawn Skiles of Duncan; and three grandchildren: Ryan, Hailey and Carson.
Ralph was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Matthews; and a brother, John, who died in 1970.
Pallbearers will be John Slate, Billy Lee, Roman Petty, Matt Tucker, Marvin Mercer and Billy Varnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Skiles, James Skiles, Bill Rash, George Schlagenhauser, Marvin Mercer and Earl Delk.
