Johnie Jeff Turner, 78, of Duncan, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014, in the Wilkins Nursing Center.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Peter officiating. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery under direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.
Johnie was born Oct. 25, 1935, the son of Joe Enfield and Gladys Wilkins Turner. He graduated from the Amber High School at Amber, in 1953. He and Alma Delk were married Aug. 25, 1956, in Anadarko. He was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church and loved farming, gardening and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, a brother and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Alma of the home in Duncan; sons: Randall, Micheal, David, Stephen and John Henry Turner, all of Duncan; 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three brothers: J.C., Dale and Mark; and six sisters: Betty, Kay, Carolyn, Wilma, Patsy and Debbie.
Pallbearers will be Dale Turner, Joe Delk, Earl Delk, Sammy Delk, Carl Delk, Earl Snyder.
