Jamaica Jeanne Borcherding/ Crume/ Riddles

DUNCAN — Jamaica Jeanne Borcherding/ Crume/ Riddles, 86, of Del City, died on Saturday, June 9, 2012. Jeanne was born Jan. 14, 1926, in Healdton, the daughter of Herman and Rosa Lee Borcherding.

She graduated from Empire High School in 1944.  

She worked for the V.A. hospital, retired from Tinker AFB after 20 years, and served as secretary of Sunny Lane United Methodist Church.

Jeanne is survived by four sons, Jim Riddles of Little Axe, Jon Riddles of Lawton, Chip and Carol Crume of Del City, and Ken and Connie Crume of Oklahoma City, and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Borcherding of Madill and H.F. “Butch” and Sandi Borcherding of Duncan.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Vernon Crume; her second husband, James Riddles; one brother, Billy Reeves Borcherding; and one sister, Beverly June Borcherding.

Services will be conducted by Ford Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Monday, June 18, at Sunny Lane United Methodist Church, Del City. Interment will be in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma.

    Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, Duncan. Interment will follow where Bette will be laid to rest beside her husband in a family cemetery in Alma.
