Willie Lorene Hill

Jan. 15, 1922 — Nov. 30, 2013

DUNCAN — Willie Lorene Hill, 91, previous resident of Duncan and resident of Davis, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, in Davis.

Funeral services will be at the chapel at Don Grantham Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, with Pastor Roger Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Restheaven Memorial Gardens.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Monday.

Willie Lorene Hill was born on Jan. 15, 1922, in Alma to George William Roach and Lillie Ethel (Chaudoin) Roach. She attended Alma Schools and was a homemaker for her family.

On Aug. 8, 1941, she married her husband James Leroy Hill at First Baptist Church in Velma.

Lorene enjoyed reading, playing games, traveling, camping and sewing. She was an active member of the Grace Baptist Church and an active member in Sunday Schools.

Lorene is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, James Leroy Hill; brothers, Corbit Roach, Emmitt Roach, Adeline Roach, Jearl Roach; sisters, Irene Overstreet, Deleeta Miller; and her parents George and Lillie Roach.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Betty Greenwood Dawson of Tulsa, Bunny Lee and her husband Larry D. Lee of Davis; five grandchildren, James Greenwood, Tracy Greenwood, Wes Lee, John Lee and Pete Dawson; seven great-grandchildren Ashley Greenwood Moshell, Scott Greenwood, David Lee, Robert Lee, Garrett Lee, Wyatt Collins, Haley Cornelison, and Kasey Cornelison; three great-great-grandchildren, Luke Moshell, Reid Moshell and  Cade Moshell.

Pallbearers will be James Greenwood, Tracy Greenwood, Wes Lee, John Lee, Pete Dawson, Scott Greenwood, David Lee, Robert Lee, Garrett Lee and Wyatt Collins.

    Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, Duncan. Interment will follow where Bette will be laid to rest beside her husband in a family cemetery in Alma.
